St Farnans Club Notes

Well done to the Sligo Ladies team on defeating Waterford in Cloonacool on Sunday last in the sides Div 2 clash in the Lidl LGFA National League. Jacqui Mulligan lined out at corner back for the side while Leah Kelly was also a member of the squad.
The footballing nursery to assist with coaching players aged from five years up continues every Saturday morning at St. Joseph’s N.S., Templeboy. Further details from Imelda McNulty, Joanne McAndrew, Lorna Harte Gilroy or any club officer.
Plans are now being finalised for our club’s big fundraising dance which will be held in the Diamond Coast Hotel on April 6th next. Country music star Robert Mizzell will provide the music for what is already promising to be a great night. Tickets will be on sale shortly and the club would greatly appreciate your support.
Sligo Ladies Co. Bd. have launched a major fundraising initiative in the form of a 300 Members Draw which will have four quarterly draws, the first of which will be held in March. Each draw will have a first prize of €1000 and a second prize of €500 while the third name out of the hat will receive €250. There will also be 5 consolation prizes of €100 in each draw.  Tickets are available through the clubs at a cost of €100 or alternatively can be purchased with 12 monthly payments of €10, by Standing Order.
Sympathy is extended to the extended family of the late Michael McGee, Dromore West, who has passed away.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.
